I was moved last evening to read in the book of Psalms. The following is the prayer that was laid on my heart to repeat over and over for Livingston Central High School today. A psalm from David. Wash our schools to declare their innocence.
I come to your altar O Lord, singing a song of thanksgiving and telling of all your miracles. I love your sanctuary, Lord, the place where your glory shines.
In your mercy save our schools. I have taken a stand, and I will publicly praise the Lord.
Psalms 26:6-8,11-12
The amazing grace of God was surely witnessed among the prayer warriors at LCHS this beautiful sunny warm day on March 11, 2007.
The following is an excerpt from Wade’s e-mail to me hours before the prayer walk on Sunday.
"I can't wait till tomorrow at the prayer walk. A couple of my youth got on the phone and called pastors in Livingston County, we used the numbers we had, of course its not all the places but at least most were called asking them to continue to support and announce it.
I hope to see Bro. mac tomorrow at the walk. I would like him to open or close us in prayer."
Today Revive was blessed with a sizable tithing ($1100.00) from the Carrsville Pentecost Church where Brother Mac is pastor. Is the Holy Spirit moving the Revive ministry? Yes, I believe so.
Did Wade know that Bro. Mac was going to present this news? Did I know this was going to happen? No, neither of us knew. Just observe how the Holy Spirit works in God’s kingdom. How amazing is His grace!
And, together we all sang "Amazing Grace."
